Riesling

The Kamptal terraces are characterized by the barren primary rock soil (on the lower terraces with a layer of loess and clay), as well as by the climate: the vineyards are located at an altitude of between 200 and 300m, at the intersection of the Danube valley and the Kamp valley. The good warming during the day creates the ripeness and fullness of the grapes, while the suction of the Kamptal in the evenings and at night moves the cool air of the Waldviertel into the vineyards, preserving freshness and fruit.

Precise nose, apricot blossoms, accompanied by citrus zest, verbena, white peach and spice and herbal notes (lemon thyme), great freshness balanced by a hint of residual sweetness, delicate body, again bright fruit play à la Saturn peach, also some spice, juicy and spicy, Still very balanced, slim style, already presents itself with stimulating drinking pleasure, but definitely shows potential for several years.
