Nittardi, Chianti Classico Riserva - Magnum

NITTARDI RISERVA

Chianti Classico Riserva wine is an excellent Riserva red. The grapes that give life to this red come from a single vineyard called Vigna Alta. 

This wine has obtained various national and international awards.  After a careful harvest, the bunches are transported to the cellar where they follow a fermentation process in steel. Subsequently, the Chianti Classico Riserva ages for 24 months in French oak tonneaux. Finally, it is bottled and ages again in glass for another 9 months.

Ruby red color with violet hues, fascinating hints of cherries, ripe plums and notes of Mediterranean scrub and spicy tones. Intense and meaty on the palate. Great tannins and acidity. Perfect fusion between structure, softness and flavor. Long and persistent finish. It pairs very well with first and second courses of meat from creative Tuscan cuisine. 

Varieties: Sangiovese 95%, Merlot 5%
