100% Syrah

This medium bodied Syrah has a nose reminiscent pepper and blackberries combined with spices. On the palate it’s smooth and sweet tannins are balanced with notable acidity. 

It has been paired with the kind of rustic, hearty dishes. Vegetarians can enjoy this wine with dishes featuring aubergines and mushrooms - but really, this is a meat-lover’s wine through and through. It’s happiest with lamb, pork and beef, and loves a bit of spice and touch of sweetness, as you’ll find in dishes like pulled pork, barbecue ribs, and sticky beef.

It is aging, 20% of the wine remained for 2/3 months in second-use French and American oak barrels.
